A pure virgin wool blanket, made in the century-old Pendleton tradition, featuring America's national parks.
In the early 1900s, Pendleton Woolen Mills honored America's national parks with a collection of blankets representing each of them.
This style is inspired by Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park, famous for the Grand Canyon, which is a gorge in the Colorado River and often considered one of the wonders of the world.
The history of the brand and its historic colors goes back to the days of border posts:
Depending on their weight, blankets were exchanged for furs, and their value was indicated by the number of black stripes incorporated into their manufacture.
Pendleton has adapted the colors and variations of the original striped theme, taking into account the distinctive features of each park.
National Park blankets have been woven in Pendleton mills in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 100 years.
100% pure new wool.
Dry clean only.
Made in the USA.
